St. Joseph’s Wells
It is with deep gratitude & sincere thankfulness that we, the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro wish to acknowledge the amazing dedication & heartfelt concern regarding the St. Joseph’s Wells Project for the CDNK sister’s schools in Tanzania. The inspiration for this life-giving.project can be credited to Georgiann Lindberg from Michigan and her sister, Suzanne Sherry. They have committed to bringing drilled water to 13 Catholic Schools owned by the CDNK sisters. Thus far, St. Joseph School has clean, drinkable running water as well as the surrounding villagers. Currently they are working on the School of Nursing & Salve Regina School. God is providing this marvelous project through his loving, devoted daughters.
Georgeann and Suzanne have generously responded to Jesus’ call saying that, “Whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones, he will surely not lose his reward” (Mat. 10:42). Their work has had so many challenges, but they have not given up. They have so far completed water projects for two schools, and a third one is in its final stages. We thank them and all the donors from the United States and Switzerland for their time, talents, and treasure. May the Good Lord bless and reward them abundantly.
