CDNK Sisters Open New Dispensary at Katoro District in Mwanza
Sr. Dr. Martine Shayo, a member of the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro (CDNK), from the Catholic Diocese of Moshi, in Tanzania, successfully defended her Doctoral Degree from the Ponttifical Urbanian University in Rome. Inauguration of the Northwestern Provincial Offices
In keeping with the mandates of the Constitution of the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro, the General Chapters which occur every six years, took place from November 3 to December 16, 2019 at the Novitiate House at Mailisita, a few miles away from the city of Moshi in Tanzania. The establishment of the Northwestern Province of the Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro (CDNK)
For the first time in the history of The Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro, on July 31, 2018, Sister Theresa Buretta, the Superior General, announced the establishment of the Congregation’s province. The main goal of this province is to facilitate the sisters’ formation, administration and implementation of their missions to all people, especially in the Northwestern part of Tanzania. The Provincial center is located at Igoma in the Catholic Archdiocese of Mwanza. See full story and slideshow
