This is the step of helping the well intentioned girl desiring to join the Congregation to recognize the call of God in her life and to respond to it. It is the time of seeking the will of God.
She is to be given intense training, inspiring her spiritual life and mental abilities; ready to respond to her vocation. During this time, she is to acquire the habit of relating to God by means of prayer and liturgy and also how to live the community life.
A candidate will be promoted to Postulancy if she has the sign of sufficient maturity in character, and commitment to religious vocation. This period lasts for one year.
